- Vendor to provide, Install and configure 2 new HP Servers with 256GB RAM, 2 SSD Drives, SSD Card and iLO .
- Vendor to install / configure VMWare on both Servers.
- Both Servers and SANs need to have redundant power.
- Vendor to provide, Install and configure new and redundant MSA / SAN (60-80TB). We have about 40TB of Data right now.
- Vendor to create redundancy (Connection wise) between Servers / SAN.
- Vendor to Install VCenter to manage VMWare on the new infrastructure.
- Vendor to migrate all Servers and Data onto new infrastructure. (most file are on Network shared drive – SMB Shares on Synology boxes (Btfrs file system), not Windows Servers). All Data need to be migrated onto Windows 2019 new File Servers.
- Vendor to make sure users can access the new Files locations/ data (access both, their own Network files and Shared Network data).
- Servers / SAN to be connected over 10GB Fiber.
- Vendor to provide an Aruba/HP 54xx core switch with 10G ports.
- Servers/SAN to be connected to Network over 10GB Connection.
- Vendor to provide any 10GB needed hardware to accomplish the above requirements / connections.
- Vendor to provide all power, fiber and data cables needed by all hardware.
- We will need 3-years support on all hardware
- Vendor to include Microsoft Windows Server Data Center as a part of this project.
- Professional Services to install and configure all the above and to do Data migration to new infrastructure.
- Project ending date is one week from start date (from when Servers / SAN are on site).

1) The bid deadline is extended to Sep, 4, 2020, 11 am.
2) August 13 and 14th are the designated dates for site visits. All questions will be answered during the site visit and visual inspection of the existing Servers/SAN systems. All site visits are by appointment only during the two designated days. Please call Jay Wassouf, IT Director (978-356-6670) to arrange for site visit.

3) If the awarded contractor fails to deliver the project on time, then the Town of Ipswich reserves the right to hire a third party provider to finish the project. Any expenses for project completion will be charged to the awarded contractor.

4) Vendors will do their own data discovery to understand Ipswich data locations/format.

5) Vendor to provide 3 references for Server/SAN projects performed in the last 1 year on company letterhead.
