Mission

 

The Ipswich Cultural Council is dedicated to fostering dynamic and diverse local arts and ensuring that the arts thrive by providing vision, leadership, capacity building services, advocacy, funding, education, and information.

Council Activities

LCC Grant Applications

Review and award grants each year.

Submission may now be made online through Massachusetts Cultural council website: massculturalcouncil.org. Search under Applications & Forms and then under Local Cultural Council to find application forms for both Standard grant application and Field Trip applications (PASS program).

Deadline:

Grants must be received by October 15th to be considered

Ipswich Art Show and Illumination

This year the Arts and Illumination weekend is September 29th, 30th and October 1, 2017. Check the Ipswich Cultural (ICC) Facebook page for updates and details.  A link to an application for artists entering the Art Show are available on the ICC Facebook page. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, September 19th, 2017.

Illumination Night is scheduled for Saturday, September 30th with a rain date of October 1, detailed information will be on the ICC Facebook page and posted around town soon.

With weather cooperating this year we have once again been granted permission to float the bonfires on the river.  Please join us for the family-friendly event starting with a Pops Concert by the Riverwalk mural at 6:00 PM ... followed by more music, food, dancing, and bonfires all along the river to Town Hall and the Green Street bridge.  It is recommended that you bring a small flashlight for darker portions of the path.
